Two prominent Kansas City litigators have founded one of the few woman-owned law firms in Missouri.

Nikki Cannezzaro and Michelle Marvel launched Cannezzaro Marvel Trial Attorneys this month. The firm, located near Kansas City's Country Club Plaza, will focus on plaintiffs' personal injury work.

Marvel, previously of Bartimus Frickleton Robertson Rader, has long represented plaintiffs in cases involving serious injury or wrongful death. Cannezzaro, previously of Franke Schultz & Mullen, has spent her career defending from such suits.
